Since 1846, the renowned Dr. von Hauner Children’s Hospital has offered comprehensive support in every area of pediatric and youth medicine. The current Dr. von Hauner Children’s Hospital opened in 1882. The clinic building is a historical landmark, but it no longer meets the needs of modern pediatric medicine. It is time for a new, contemporary and child-appropriate university clinic: the new Hauner.
A pediatrics and obstetrics center will be built at the Großhadern campus, with even more modern standards, greater capacity and highly innovative research. In order to make this vision a reality, a foundation has been established, which we are supporting with a donation.
