German Federal Network Agency has published statistics on the use of a broadband measurement tool by zafaco, which is in operation for two years. In the period from October 2016 to September 2017, the tool was used for 3.7 million measurements, which was a significant increase compared to the first year of operation with 0.9 million measurements.
Users mostly used the internet speed measurement tool in the web browser option, while 1.6 million used it via the smartphone application, mostly in WLAN.
