The tremendous increase in video traffic presents a major challenge for Internet service providers if they want to provide excellent quality of service to their customers. For this, they not only need to ensure the quality of service on their own network, they also spend special attention to the transit of video content via diverse peerings and Content Delivery Networks (CDN).
The zafaco crowdsourced 4K-ready test performs measurements in the over-the-top approach to different video content providers. The result of the 4K-ready test can look different depending on the setup and requirements. From a simple technical overview of results to the detailed report of the strengths and weaknesses compared to the competition in terms of user experience, functionality and compatibility.
