Gigabit Grundbuch – The Data Hub for Digital Infrastructure in Germany

The Gigabit Grundbuch of the German Federal Government provides a central access point to all information about digital infrastructure in Germany.

Citizens want to be sure that they have a stable and fast internet connection everywhere. With the Gigabit Grundbuch, they can better understand and track mobile network expansion in their region.

At the same time, it helps businesses, the federal government, states, and municipalities to drive network expansion more efficiently.

What exactly is the Gigabit Grundbuch, how does it work, and who is it for? The Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV) provides an overview.

The information services Broadband Measurement and Dead Zone Map of the Gigabit Grundbuch are provided by zafaco GmbH on behalf of the Federal Network Agency.
