Federal Network Agency publishes final report

The Federal Network Agency today published the results of the study conducted last year by zafaco to measure the actual speed of broadband connections. The measurement study confirms the large number of customer complaints about discrepancies between the contractually agreed “up to” bandwidth and the actual bandwidth available. Across all technologies, products and providers, the participating users often did not measure the bandwidth held out to them by their provider as a maximum possible bandwidth.

The evaluation of the contractual contents and the results of the measurement study are available on the website of the Federal Network Agency. Furthermore, the results of the measurement study have been published on the website www.initiative-netzqualitaet.de. On this site, it is also still possible to carry out broadband measurements and measurements on certain aspects of net neutrality.
